Steps for Enrolling in Nexus Virtual Education

Enrolling in Nexus Virtual Education requires each all members of the student's support system working together to ensure the student's success.

  1. The enrollment process begins with an inquiry. Please use our website or contact information to submit an inquiry.
  2. Once we have received your inquiry, our Virtual Learning Coordinator will be in contact with you to discuss how Nexus could meet the student’s needs.
  3. If it is determined that the student would benefit from Nexus, the Virtual Learning Coordinator will review the student’s current IEP and a new placement meeting will be scheduled.
  4. If the IEP team determines that a student will attend Nexus, an enrollment and orientation meeting will be scheduled with the parent or caregiver.
  5. After all the documentation has been signed and received, we will send out the device and schedule the student start date.

Typically, students are able to begin within 7-10 days of the IEP meeting.
